Experience
Hannah became a certified trainer in 2019. After several years of delivering beachside outdoor boot camp classes and dance-inspired workouts at a boutique studio in Bondi, Hannah launched Mighty Mums.
Inspired by her own experience of Motherhood after giving birth to her daughter, Frankie, Hannah wanted to create opportunities for new mums to connect, build friendship, support one another. All while moving their bodies in a safe and effective way that supports their physical health, but (in Hannah's view more importantly!) their mental and emotional health as well.
Hannah began teaching postnatal classes for new mums and their babies when Frankie was just a few months old. Hannah had always viewed 'exercise' and 'movement' as hugely influential factors when it comes to protecting mental health. But what she discovered through teaching as a new mum herself, was that there was just as much value in the coffee dates that took place straight after class, as there was in the class itself. She would sit with her new mum friends for hours after class, enjoying each others company, discussing the highs and lows of motherhood, and ultimately, discovered that these experiences boosted her confidence and feelings of self-worth substantially.
Hannah is super passionate about the importance of women having a network of mums around them in the postnatal phase and she can't wait to welcome more Mums of the Shire into her tight-nit community.
