When it comes to pram friendly walks in and around Hobart, I’d have to say that we are spoilt for choice! I connected with the local Mums in the area to create this Ultimate Guide to Hobart Pram Walks so these are all tried and tested, Mum endorsed walks!
Hobart has the most magical outlook, with the Derwent River and Kunanyi/Mount Wellington taking centre stage, but it doesn’t really matter where you are, beauty can be found all around Hobart and we are lucky to have some wonderful pram friendly walks to explore right on our doorstep.
Hobart Walks – Eastern Shore
Rosny Hill Nature Recreation Area
This boasts several family-friendly walking tracks with stunning views of Hobart and the surrounding waterways. The paths are well-maintained and suitable for prams, making it easy for parents to explore with their little ones in tow. Be sure to climb to the summit of Rosny Hill for panoramic vistas stretching from the city skyline to kunanyi/Mount Wellington.
Bellerive Boardwalk to Wentworth Park Howrah
This is a delightful stroll along the picturesque waterfront. It is mostly flat with a paved track perfect for prams. With stunning views of the Derwent River and the City. Families can enjoy a leisurely walk while taking in the fresh sea breeze and spotting local wildlife, including seabirds and occasional dolphins. With beaches along the way, cafes, playgrounds and convenient parking nearby, it’s an ideal spot for a relaxing outing with your little ones.
Bellerive to Howrah Beach Track
